Youth must live the essence of Independence Day
MANILA,
12 Jun 2012-Young people need to recall the importance of the feast on
the basis of patriotism for the country, the Catholic priest said.
Fr. Conegundo
Garganta, executive secretary of the Episcopal Commission for the young
people said that it is important to spread among young people the value
of nationalism.
We also need creative and valuable programs to learn the essence of the festival to introduce, he said.
"And
for our leaders to be sustainable programs that young people []
consciousness and awareness of the gift of independence, will deepen as a

Some
young leaders agreed that the essence of independence celebrations has
not lost on young, because what they have learned in school.
"They

said Mata.
For Ella Alfaro from Makati, is today an important day for young Filipinos.
"We

Joanie Bolisay diocesan youth coordinator Cabanatuan said that young
people will not forget this day because there is no education at all
levels.

holiday. There are still people who celebrate this day with reverence,
but some of this opportunity as a holiday, need to relax and get a
